Caregiver

About the role

Provide personalized, hands-on care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation
• Provide companionship and engage clients in joyful activities such as puzzles, reading, and hobbies
• Support clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client condition
• Report any concerns or changes in condition to appropriate parties
• Ensure a safe and unobstructed home environment
• Perform simple procedures as delegated

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course
• Two positive references
• Ability to perform personal care tasks and document client status
• Effective communication skills
