Daily Responsibilities
- Aid residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks.
- Cut food for residents during mealtime.
- Encourage residents to eat and assist with mealtime as needed.
- Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, reporting to the nursing supervisor if unable to complete.
- Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads, and the Director of Resident Services as necessary.
- Participate in planned and/or directed activities.
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Home Health Aide Certification or Nursing Assistant License.
- A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- One (1) year of experience working as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Resident Assistant (RA).
