Caregiver

About the role

Lakeshore Assisted Living And Memory Care is currently seeking a Caregiver to join their team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of their residents, their families, and the community. Responsibilities

• Supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
• Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.
• Exhibits a positive customer service attitude by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work-related problems with the proper individuals.
• Communicates effectively by carefully listening, being sensitive to other people's thoughts and feelings, giving thoughtful responses, and timely and accurate reporting to appropriate people.
• Maintains confidentiality of both resident and staff information.
• Presents with a neat, clean appearance.
• Participates in designated facility in-services to help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
