General Summary
As a Caregiver (CNA), you will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
Caregiver Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Absorb residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and safety.
- Support residents in attending meals, activities, appointments, and other scheduled events, including assisting with walkers, pushing wheelchairs, and monitoring daily schedules.
- Accurately document care provided, complete shift summaries, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.
Physical Demands
- Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, stoop, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or assist with moving objects or individuals weighing over 50 lbs.
- Ability to maintain focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the shift.
Requirements
- An annual flu vaccination is required (medical or religious exemptions considered).
