About the Role

Thriving as a caregiver at Sevita, you will develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, support their developmental goals, and assist with daily activities like personal hygiene and managing behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Provide care to individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
• Engage participants in community activities and encourage their enjoyment of favorite activities
• Work closely with supervisors to ensure the best care for participants

Requirements

• A valid Driver's License for at least one year post permit
• A clean Motor Vehicle Report meeting Sevita's insurability policy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
