About the role
Each day, you'll develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, take initiative to help them be part of the community, and support their developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Assist people with their personal hygiene
- Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
- Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
- Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the well-being and growth of participants
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Compassion, patience, and a desire to make a difference in people's lives
- Ability to communicate effectively with participants and colleagues
- Reliability and responsibility
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
