About the Role
As a Senior Helpers of North West Hartford Caregiver, you make a lasting impact that betters the lives of our clients and their families. You will provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. We match your area of expertise to the seniors you’ll care for.
If you are a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys helping others, takes pride in making a difference, and is interested in professional growth, this caregiver position is for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide a helping hand and engage in fun, meaningful conversations with clients to build relationships
- Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (e.g., scrapbooking, gardening, games)
- Prepare meals for clients
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily living activities
- Report completed activities and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
