Caregiver

About the Role

A day in the life of a caregiver at Senior Helpers Orlando involves providing compassionate, non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes. You’ll build meaningful relationships with clients while supporting their daily activities and independence.

• Provide a helping hand and engage in fun, meaningful conversations with clients
• Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prepare meals for clients
• Assist with walking, dressing, and other daily living activities
• Report completed activities and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Requirements

• Passion for helping others
• Enjoyment of customer service and client communication

• Must pass Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

Senior Helpers provides in-home, non-medical assistance to seniors, allowing them to age comfortably in their own homes. Our services include personal care, companion care, respite care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, Parkinson’s care, and more. We connect seniors with community resources to support their well-being and independence.
