About the Role

As a Senior Helpers of Spokane Caregiver, you make a lasting impact that betters the lives of our clients and their families. Senior Helpers of Spokane caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home.

Responsibilities

- Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships - Participate in your clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.) - Prep meals for your clients to enjoy - Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living (ADL’s) - Show toileting, med reminders, and report activities completed with your clients and provide updates on their physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Qualifications

- Compassionate and reliable attitude - Passionate about helping others - Enjoy customer service and communicating with clients - Want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life

Requirements

- Ability to pass background checks - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required - With current car insurance

HCA & CNA Applicants Encouraged

Washington State Home Care Aides (HCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are strongly encouraged to apply. We value your training, experience, and commitment to providing exceptional care. Candidates with caregiving certifications may be eligible for a faster onboarding process and starting rate of pay.

Pay Range

- $20-$24 - Depends on experience / certification / tenure - Differentials for weekends/ holidays / couple’s care
