About the role

At Senior Helpers Boise Treasure Valley, we care for our caregivers in a respectful manner and demonstrate camaraderie and recognition so our caregivers can provide and serve our clients to the best of their ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide a helping hand to clients
• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy
• Aid clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report activities completed with clients and provide updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation (MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL 25-30 MILES - NO long distance commutes)
• Proof of car insurance
• Pass a background check
• Passionate about helping others
• Enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• Willing to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
