Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
• Transport clients in your vehicle to appointments, errands, and outings
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and engage in activities like reading and puzzles
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with prescribed exercises
• Offer specialized care for clients with dementia

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance preferred
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
