About the role

Right at Home of Southern Arizona helps seniors navigate the aging journey while staying safely and independently in their own homes. We are searching for an exceptional Caregiver to join our professional care team! Help us improve the quality of life for the seniors we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADL's):
  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
  • Ambulation/Transfers
  • Eating
  • Dressing/Grooming
• Prepares meals and snacks
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
• Light Housekeeping
• The caregiver performs client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home Care Manager or Nurse:
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Measuring and preparing special diets
  • Understanding dementia care
  • Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills

• Compassion and concern for older adults
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Possess a valid driver's license and have your own insured automobile

Pay

$16.00-$18.00 per hour
