Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
  • Feeding
  • Dressing/Shaving
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Preparing special diets
  • Dementia care
  • Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
  • Dressing, changing, ambulating, and repositioning clients
• Performing housekeeping activities, including but not limited to:
  • Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, or mopping floors
  • Doing dishes
  • Changing bed linens
  • Doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments

Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
• 6 months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or 6 months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance preferred
• Pass a background check
• CNA or HHA license is preferred

$15-19/hr
