About the role

We are Golden Sands, a retirement and assisted living community providing compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks.
• Report to the wellness director and follow the resident service plan, which includes assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other ADLs.
• Note changes in the resident's condition and communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds to an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

Requirements

You currently preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will provide training.

Qualifications

• Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Compose reports in English.
