Caregiver

About the role

We are Regency Pullman, a retirement and assisted living community providing compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our exceptional team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior residents with personal services, medication administration, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Note changes in the resident's condition and communicate problems, concerns, and issues with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

Requirements

• Currently preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving.
• If new to healthcare, we provide training.
• Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Compose reports in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
