About the role
Assist our senior residents in their daily well-being through personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks.
Responsibilities
- Follow the resident service plan including assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other ADLs, noting changes in the resident condition.
- Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
- Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
- Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
- Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
- Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
Requirements
- Must have CNA or HCA license.
- Currently preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving.
- If new to healthcare, we will provide training.
Qualifications
- Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
- Compose reports in English.
