Responsibilities
- Assist senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks.
- Report to the wellness director and follow the resident service plan, including assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other ADLs.
- Note changes in the resident condition and communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds to an appropriate team member.
- Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
- Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
- Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
- Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
Requirements
- Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving.
- If new to healthcare, we will provide training.
- Compose reports in English.
Qualifications
- Current CNA or HCA license preferred.
