Job Overview

Rainbow Acres is hiring Caregivers to support adults with developmental disabilities. This is a caregiver position focused on daily care, safety, independence, and quality of life in a supportive Christian environment. This role is ideal for a compassionate person seeking a Caregiver job near Camp Verde, nonprofit work, or mission-driven employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support for adults with developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support emotional, social, and physical well‑being
• Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment
• Transport residents to appointments and off‑site activities
• Collaborate with healthcare, vocational, and support teams
• Protect resident rights and follow all safety procedures

This is a safety‑sensitive caregiver position requiring strong attention to detail and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to complete Arizona‑approved Certified Caregiver training (employer paid)
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain, employer paid)
• Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain, employer paid)
• Strong ethics, compassion, and reliability
• Alignment with a faith‑based / Christian mission preferred

Final candidates will be required to submit to our security clearance process. On-site training for the right candidate.
