Caregiver
About the role
Caregiver/Care Partner at Pegasus Senior Living (PSL) is seeking passionate individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors. This role requires a minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities of living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and document resident health and wellness
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Applicable certifications as required by state
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently or with assistance
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (if required for transportation)
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer literacy

Pay
The starting wage for this position is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on education, work experience, certifications, and other factors. In addition to the salary, Pegasus Senior Living offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) with match, paid time off, flexible hours, and an employee assistance program.
Schedule
Shift options include Day, Evening, and Night Care (NOC) with shifts ranging from 1 to 8 hours.
