Responsibilities
- Aid residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as outlined in the resident's service and care plan.
- Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Report any observed or suspected changes in a resident's condition to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues and other departments.
Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not required; training provided to the right candidate.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
- May be required to receive vaccinations, participate in daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
