Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a critical role in improving the well-being and daily functioning of our clients, especially older adults who may require additional support due to age-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritional needs are met, including special dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping
• Foster social engagement and companionship to promote emotional well-being
• Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence
• Administer medications per care plans and monitor compliance
• Observe and report changes in client health or behavior to healthcare providers or family members
• Provide supportive care for geriatric clients, including those with age-related illnesses such as dementia, arthritis, or mobility impairments

Requirements

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred (home care, nursing homes, assisted living, etc.)
• CNA or HCA credential preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of patient observation and reporting techniques
• Experience working with elderly clients is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and reliability
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
