Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to join our team at Merrill Gardens at Madison. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors and committed to supporting their wellness journey.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• The ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.
