Caregiver

About the role

Experienced Caregivers are urgently needed to assist clients in Columbia, Montour, Union, Snyder, Northumberland, Lycoming, and Sullivan counties. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and a competitive wage while making a meaningful difference in the community. Caregivers provide non-medical in-home support, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as dressing, walking/transferring, eating, bathing, toileting, and continence care. Additional responsibilities may include homemaking, companionship, transportation (when required), and other support services.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including dressing, walking/transferring, eating, bathing, toileting, and continence care
• Provide homemaking services and companionship
• Assist with transportation (when required)
• Deliver other support services as needed

Requirements

• At least one year of experience caring for older adults (can include experience caring for family and/or others)
• Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking, and companionship services
• State background checks
• Four references (2 professional and 2 personal)
• Recent and up-to-date TB tests (2-step or blood draw required)
