Lifesteps, a local human service agency with over 100 years of experience, is hiring compassionate staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Beaver Falls, PA. Direct Care Aides assist individuals with activities of daily living and home care.

About the role

Direct Care Aides provide assistance to adults with disabilities, helping them with daily activities such as dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transportation to doctor appointments.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Assisting with individual goal attainment
• Community outings and fun activities

Schedule

Steady, full-time hours available with the following shifts:

• Evenings: 3 pm to 11 pm
• Overnight: 11 pm to 7 am

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances

No experience necessary! Paid training provided. Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals are welcome.
