Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while upholding their self-respect, dignity, safety, and privacy.
• Report any observed or suspected changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment for all staff, residents, and visitors, adhering to established safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to promote teamwork and positive interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training provided to the right candidate.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical exam and Tuberculin (TB) test.
• Eligible to receive vaccinations, participate in daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by regulatory guidelines.
