Caregiver

About the role

HomeWell Care Services is growing and looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors, veterans, and adults who want to stay safe and independent at home. Caregivers with a current Nevada Medication Management certificate (16-hour course plus annual 8-hour refresher) earn a higher rate and administer medications at home; attach certificates when applying.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Administer medications (certified caregivers) or give medication reminders
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and run errands
• Watch for changes in a client’s condition and report them to the care team

Requirements

• Caregiving experience preferred, but training provided for the right person
• Nevada Medication Management certificate strongly preferred (proof of current annual training required for the higher rate)
• Dementia care training, CNA, CPR/First Aid, or hospice experience a big plus
• Experience with veterans, mobility assistance, or safe transfers is a plus
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Pay

$19–$22 per hour, with a premium rate for caregivers who hold a current Nevada Medication Management certificate (16-hour course plus annual 8-hour refresher).

Schedule

Part‑time and full‑time positions available. Flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. Clients are matched close to where you live.
