Shift lengths range from 4 to 12 hours depending on client needs. Candidates must be available and willing to work 4-hour shifts. Longer shifts, up to 12 hours, are offered when available but are not guaranteed. Part-time position. Because client needs vary, shift lengths and schedules vary too. Job Overview HomeWell is seeking caring, dependable, and service-oriented home care aides who are passionate about helping others live safely and comfortably at home. In this role, you’ll provide non-medical personal care and companionship that supports each client’s dignity, independence, and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)Provide medication remindersPrepare meals and support mobility/transfersOffer companionship and emotional supportSupport daily activities and behaviors as neededPerform light housekeeping for a safe home Skills Experience with bedbound care and transfers preferredKnowledge of dementia and developmental disability care preferredAbility to manage behaviors with patience and empathyMeal prep and dietary awarenessStrong communication and interpersonal skills Requirements Availability and willingness to work 4-hour shifts (required)Caregiving Experience 1-3 years preferredValid Driver's LicenseReliable transportation and valid auto insurance Location Requirement: Must currently reside in or be able to reliably commute in the St. Louis, MO area. If not already local, relocation prior to start date is required. Work Location: In person Please apply only if you are available and willing to work 4-hour shifts. Many of our caregivers also pick up longer shifts, up to 12 hours, as client needs arise.
