Position Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will be responsible for providing assistance with daily activities, personal care, and companionship to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Meditation Reminders: Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed, following client-specific care plans and instructions.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, and tidying up living spaces, to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation, recreational activities, and cultural interests to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and their families in English to ensure clear understanding of care needs, preferences, and instructions.
  • Transportation: Escort clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities as needed, using reliable transportation and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily activity logs, medication administration records, and any changes or observations in clients' health or behavior.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Ability to pass background checks and physical as required by state regulations.
  • Active CPR Certification.
