Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Aid in activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Keep the living environment clean and organized for residents.
• Advocate for resident rights and uphold their dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or related field experience is preferred but not required.
• A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures.
• The ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
