About the Role

As a Caregiver (Developmental Disabilities) at Homecare Heroes of Texas LLC, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, enabling them to live comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centered care and support to clients with developmental disabilities
• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Helping with mobility and transfers, including wheelchair assistance
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Documenting client care and progress, communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
• Compassionate and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional client care
