What You’ll Do:
- Provide companionship and conversation to seniors
- Aid with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
- Support with Alzheimer’s and dementia care
- Aid with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Help with safety and mobility
- Promote a clean, safe, and positive home environment
- Document care activities and communicate with the office team
Caregivers MUST:
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, physical, TB screen and drug screen
- Have a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
- Have a vehicle
- Attend ongoing training
- Be able to lift 25 pounds and perform essential job duties
- Have a working smart phone
Requirements:
Home Instead is an independent franchise, so each location may have its own specific requirements. However, all caregivers must meet the following general criteria:
- Be able to work flexible hours

- Have a reliable vehicle
