What You’ll Do:

• Provide companionship and conversation to seniors
• Aid with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Support with Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Aid with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Help with safety and mobility
• Promote a clean, safe, and positive home environment
• Document care activities and communicate with the office team

Caregivers MUST:

• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, physical, TB screen and drug screen
• Have a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Have a vehicle
• Attend ongoing training
• Be able to lift 25 pounds and perform essential job duties
• Have a working smart phone

Requirements:

Home Instead is an independent franchise, so each location may have its own specific requirements. However, all caregivers must meet the following general criteria:

• Be able to work flexible hours
