Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Provide stabilization and assistance with walking
• Prepare meals and clean up meal-related items
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.)
• Wash and iron laundry
• Provide medication and appointment reminders
• Run errands and accompany clients to appointments
• Provide specialized care, including Advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia and Hospice care
• Document daily activities and report significant changes in a client’s needs
• Maintain regular communication with your supervisor and office staff

Requirements

• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Willingness to work alongside pets
• Valid driver’s license or state identification
• Valid auto insurance (if applicable for driving clients)
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations

Schedule

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Part-time Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Part-time Evening Shifts: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Evening Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays (all shifts)
