About the role

Home Instead is seeking caregivers to enhance the lives of aging adults in the Wagner, Lake Andes, Avon, Tyndall, and surrounding communities. We provide a range of non-medical services to help adults stay in their homes and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

- Companionship and conversation - Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation - Medication and appointment reminders - Assistance with grooming and bathing - Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues - Alzheimer’s Care

Requirements

- No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead - Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect - Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner - Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
