Caregiver Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and families
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Dressing
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Mobility support
- Incontinence care
- Safe ambulation and transfers
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Laundry
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation
- Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
- Document care in a daily log (health, wellbeing, and activities)
Caregiver Requirements & Preferences
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Open availability strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Experience is a plus (not always required): PCA (Personal Care Aide), LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant), Caregiver, companion, or similar roles
