Job Summary

Caregiver positions are available in multiple service areas across Connecticut. Positions are part-time to full-time, with flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, overnight, and live-in shifts. Competitive pay, benefits, and referral bonuses are offered.

About the Role

Companions & Homemakers provides non-medical home care services to individuals in need. Responsibilities include transporting clients, assisting with daily tasks, providing companionship, and documenting care.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Aid with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a compassionate nature, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Training is provided.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive situations are essential.
