Caregiver positions are available in multiple service areas across Connecticut. Positions range from part-time to full-time, with flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, overnight, and live-in shifts. About the Role
Companions & Homemakers provides non-medical home care services to individuals in need. Responsibilities include transporting clients to appointments, assisting with daily tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands, and providing companionship and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
- Transport clients to appointments and activities
- Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
- Aid with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Document care and provide reminders as directed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Open availability preferred
- Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
