Job Summary

Caregiver positions are available in Mystic, CT. Positions are part-time to full-time, with flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, overnight, and live-in shifts. Direct Care positions are available in Norwich.

About the Role

Companions & Homemakers is hiring for entry-level positions providing non-medical home care services. Duties include transporting clients, assisting with daily tasks, and offering companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Aid with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required. Candidates must also be able to pass a criminal background check and have open availability.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to follow directions, and a compassionate nature are essential.
