Job Summary

About the Role

Companions & Homemakers provides non-medical home care services to individuals in need. Responsibilities include transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and assistance with personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care. The role also involves documenting care and providing reminders as directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Aid with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus

Qualifications

Highly skilled in providing compassionate, dependable, and dedicated care to seniors. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive situations, and a positive attitude are essential.
