Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Caregiver/Med Tech for our Cottonwood, AZ location. This is a level 1 and level 2 care community. The purpose of this position is to provide a broad range of support services to our Assisted Living residents, including but not limited to, administering medications to the residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner based on medical chart records. Document the care provided and report any changes in the resident's condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform welfare checks on residents.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Provide physical assistance, laundry & bedding assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Aid in mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Administer prescribed medications to assisted living residents and maintain medical records.
• Order and complete medication records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving and medication administration experience a plus.
• Certification as an Arizona Caregiver is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• A valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• A current negative TB test is required.

• The ability to deliver compassionate care to elderly patients.

Benefits

• $500 Sign On Bonus for Full-Time Employees.

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 6 am to 6 pm.
