As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you're an essential part of a compassionate team dedicated to creating joy, comfort, and connection for every resident. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility
- Ensure residents' personal care needs are met with dignity and respect
- Document care provided using the Matrix Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Follow medication administration policies and procedures
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary
- Assist with meal service, monitor food intake, and support residents during mealtimes
- Transport residents safely throughout the community as needed
- Encourage and assist residents in participating in social, recreational, and wellness activities
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the Assisted Living Director
- Maintain resident confidentiality at all times
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members
- Follow care plans and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and community policies
Requirements
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination and TB screening
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance as required by state licensing regulations
- Current Food Handler's Certificate
- Current First Aid Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and compassionate resident care
Pay
$18.50 - $22.50 per hour
