Location: Benicia, CA 94510. Office headquarters in Napa, CA. Servicing Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Marin, Contra Costa, and San Francisco counties.

About the Role

As a Registered Home Care Aide, you will deliver exceptional personal care services and assist clients with activities of daily living. You will work to ensure client dignity, comfort, and independence. You will be responsible for documenting the services provided and reporting to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

• Bathing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Transferring/ambulating
• Personal hygiene and grooming
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Assisting with medication that the client self-administers
• Transportation assistance

Requirements

• Active on the California Home Care Aide Registry
• One-year experience in home care, hospital, or nursing home setting preferred
• Willing to obtain Basic Life Support CPR/AED certification
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, frail, and impaired
• Tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
• Willingness to submit a Livescan Fingerprint clearance and statement of prior criminal convictions
• Willingness to attain a TB Screening
• At least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile preferred

Pay

$25–$30/hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Part-time position: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10 AM to 2 PM (4-hour shift depending on client's need).
