About the role

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking Virginia-certified PCAs, HHAs, and CNAs to join our care team in Gainesville and nearby communities. Whether you’re looking to grow your caregiving career or add meaningful hours to your schedule, this is a great way to start the new year.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Helping with transfers, mobility, and safety
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Offering companionship and engagement
• Making medication reminders and visit documentation
• Safe transportation for clients as needed

Requirements

• Active PCA, HHA, or CNA certification in Virginia
• CPR certification and current TB screening
• Must pass a background check
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Able to lift 25 lbs. and assist with transfers
