Caregiver

Job Summary

Almost Family - Central Oregon is seeking a full-time Caregiver to assist seniors and disabled individuals in maintaining independence at home in the Redmond, Oregon area.

Compensation & Benefits

The Caregiver role offers a pay range of $20 - $22 per hour, paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, Caregivers will receive benefits such as paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities, and paid training.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more - Monitor clients' health and document their needs - Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients - Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations - Provide companionship and emotional support - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping - Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities - Assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and other errands

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals - Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening - Valid driver's license and auto insurance - CPR and First Aid certification - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
