Job Summary
Almost Family - Columbia County is seeking a full-time Caregiver to assist seniors and disabled individuals in maintaining independence at home. The ideal candidate should be experienced, compassionate, and driven.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor clients' health and document their needs
- Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Auxiliary tasks such as light housekeeping and transportation
- Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
