Caregiver

Job Summary

Almost Family - Clackamas is seeking a full-time Caregiver to assist seniors and disabled individuals in maintaining independence in their homes. The ideal candidate should have experience, compassion, and drive.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks
• Document clients' needs and monitor their health
• Aid with transportation to doctor’s appointments and errands

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Benefits

The Caregiver role offers a starting hourly rate between $20 - $22, paid biweekly. Additional benefits include paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities, and paid training.
