Caregiver

Job Summary

Almost Family - Central Oregon is seeking a full-time Caregiver to assist seniors and disabled individuals in maintaining independence at home. The ideal candidate should have experience, compassion, and drive.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Aid with transportation to doctor’s appointments and other errands

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

The Caregiver role offers a salary range of $20 - $22 per hour, paid biweekly. Additional benefits include paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities, and paid training. Voluntary benefits may also be available.
