Caregiver - Assisted Living - Part Time - EOW

About the role

We are seeking individuals who can embody our mission to enrich the lives of our residents through Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork. In this role, you will assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with their daily activities, ensuring they live a fulfilling life while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs as outlined by the supervisor.
• Document daily logs of assistance provided.
• Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor, and respond to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Caregiver must demonstrate compassion, professionalism, kindness, engagement, empathy, and helpfulness.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Capable of making independent decisions when necessary.
• Skilled in problem-solving and handling stressful situations.
• Positive and friendly demeanor towards residents and colleagues.
