About the role
The Arbor at Avamere Court is seeking a Full-Time caregiver to provide comprehensive support to residents.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal Hygiene, Mobility Assistance, Meal Preparation
- Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing Emotional Support, Engaging in Conversations, Activities, and Social Interactions
- Housekeeping: Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment
- Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy: Observing Residents, Reporting Concerns to Medical Professionals, Monitoring Vital Signs
- Maintain a Clean, Comfortable, and Safe Work Environment
- Report Safety Concerns to Supervisor
- Aid in the Orientation of New Residents and Staff
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements
- Experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and/or Assisted Living Facility
- Ability to Obtain and Maintain Active CPR/First Aid Certification during Employment
- Ability to Obtain a Food Handler's Card
- Experience in Electronic Medical Records Documentation
- At Least 18 Years Old
- Friendly, Attentive, and Professional Demeanor with Residents and Guests
