Caregiver - ALS experience, Russian speaking - Monday thru Friday (9 AM - 2 PM) - Hamden, CT

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Russian-speaking caregiver to provide dedicated support to a warm and resilient woman living with ALS in Hamden, CT.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting)
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Mobility support and help with transfers
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment

Requirements

• Fluent Russian speaker - required (client speaks primarily Russian)
• Experience caring for a client with ALS strongly preferred
• Confident with mobility support and transfers
• Professional, compassionate, and responsive to clients' needs
• Clear communication skills
