About the role
Join BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula as a Caregiver and bring comfort, dignity, and independence to seniors and adults in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-to-one care in the home as a caregiver
- Avoids bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility
- Prepares simple, nutritious meals and helps with light housekeeping
- Offers friendly companionship and engaging conversation
- Runs local errands and provides reliable transportation
- Keeps clear, timely care notes while following HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Current CPR certification
- TB test (clear) or chest X-ray
- Registered Home Care Aide HCA Caregiver (or willing to register)
- 1+ year of in-home caregiver experience (preferred)

Caregiver Pay: $21–$24/hr + $2/hr weekend bonus
